Can a Narrow body rear bumper fit a Wide body car?

997.1 WB bumpers do not have the black inserts. It is only the 997.2 WB bumpers that have these.

We developed the 997.2 WB rear splitter upgrade to simply clip in place of the the original ones - examples below:

Yes, it's listed on the build sheet. If yours are painted then I would assume it's on the build as well.

with the misalignment + the fact that it is a narrow body bumper, the logical conclusion is that the rear bumper has been replaced. but the .2 rear WB bumpers are indeed wider with the plastic stone guard piece.

the .1 WB bumpers do not have the stone guard piece, but do have different part numbers and there is a width difference between NB + WB rear bumpers.
