Tire Recommendations?? LOW Inventory

Might want to go with the Conti’s in 235/40 and 295/35 if that 2% in width bothers you.

I plan to stay with 18” for a while because for me my 19’s were pretty harsh.
I hope they keeping making 285/295 widths in 300TW+ Summer Tires, it’s def slim pickings these days.

Need new rears on the Targa. 295 35 18s. And Holy Cats is the inventory awful.
No Bridgestone Potenzas in stock. No Mich PSS. No Mich PS2s. No Goodyear Eagle F1.
The Conti Extreme Contacts do not work on this vehicle.
Bridgestone RE-71 RS looks like a challenge in the wet. - Anybody driven these? Comments?
Same with Yokohama Advans AO52
Thanks much in advance.

For whatever it's worth, I bought a set of Bridgestone Potenza tires from DTD last year when they were the only vender stocking the model I was looking for. I'm usually a Tire Rack guy, but they didn't have the tires I needed.

Fixed finally. New Conti Extreme Contact Sport 02 installed. Initial tests complete.
First, FWIW for Porsche owners - Firestone Direct has handled this whole thing flawlessly. SUPER props to them. And especially to Andy, their regional guy down here.
This is not my first experience with FD. They've been great every time. Super convenient. Service on-site, where you are. Great customer interface. Very good pricing. Super fast (often next day) delivery and mounting.
They techs I dealt with were very good. Though....make sure you have your own jack pucks. Those aren't always on the trucks.
Friggin' awesome in my experience. (I have no stake in the business nor any income for me or my family connected to them.)
Andy suggested the Conti Extreme Contact Sport 02. I was hesitant about the wet performance. But Andy knew the tire. The wet performance is similar, perhaps better than the Potenzas.
He sourced them, as they weren't in inventory at Firestone Direct. Had them on the way, and on the car a day afterward.
They're just stiff enough in the sidewall, stable in the grooves, very linear on turn-in...perfect. My wife noticed the difference immediately as well.
Obviously YMMV. But for what I'm looking for, they're great.
Thanks Andy and Jake. Friggin' awesome, guys!

Heard the sidewall was stiffer than the MPS4S, but with the smaller sidewall size on the 285/35 MPS4S it might be a wash.

I'm in Wisconsin. I've got a 2011 997.2 C2S with stock 19" Turbo 2 wheels, and I'm just looking for a street tire that's good in the spring, summer, and fall, good in rain, and as comfortable and quiet as possible. I don't track nor autocross and I'm sure that my "spirited" driving is hardly even noteworthy. I've never even taken off the traction control. Price and tire longevity isn't really an issue since I only put about 3-4,000 miles on this car per year.
Thanks in advance.

Petza, curious as to why you like the Invo's and which of their tire sizes, or something else, you'd recommend for me when my Michelin PS4's (235/35 r19, 295/30 r19) need to be swapped out - which is probably this fall. I know very little about cars, tires, wheels, etc other than just the basics.

I love them and doubt many others have even tried them.

Ive loved my michelin Pilot sport 4S on every car. Great daily and occasional track fun for a few exhibition laps. Really fun except for the cost on them is pretty wild at times!

The michelins are great tires but I'm going yokohama in a month or so when I have to replace mine. I always had real good luck with them. Plus I think the tread wear rating is a little higher meaning they should last a little longer.

Just and FYI - treadwear indices are only valid within a brand, not across brands as there is not a standard that all tire manufactures compare to when determining a treadwear number. So a Yokohama tire with a 300 treadwear should last longer than another Yokohama tire with a 240 treadwear, but may not last longer than Michelin with say a 260 treadwear.

I went back to 19s just because of the better tire options in 19”

Probably an easy question for some of you:
I have Michelin PS4's on my 2011 C2S in stock 235/35 front (diameter 25.5") and 295/30 rear (26.0" diameter), 19" rims, 8" front and 11" rear. My rear tires need to be replaced this year. I might do all four.
I see on the Michelin website that the PS4 comes in larger diameters:
235/40 (26.4" diameter) for the front, and
295/35 (27.1" diameter), 305/30 (26.3" diameter) for the rear.
I assume that the larger front (235/40) doesn't fit or more people would be using it to deliver a bit more compliant ride, correct? And I assume the same goes for the 295/35...
