Due to the global recession in 2008 onwards, 997.2 production was cut by over 75% compared to 2007/2008. There were only 829 Carrera S Coupes made in 2011 for the entire world market compared to 4,797 Carrera S Coupe in 2007 and 3,078 in 2008.

Can anyone verify the below or point me to the production numbers?

It would be great to discover a break down list on Manual vs Triptonic/PDK. I've heard for the 997.2, about 15%-20% were manual.

 

That's close to what I've seen too since the PDK was rolled out. About 80% PDK and 20% manuals. Pretty consistent numbers over 14 years from a number of sources. Some go as low as 10% manuals vs. 90% PDK but I think those may me outliers. The 80/20 ratio seems to be the consensus.

 

When I bought my 2011 C2S 6 sp coupe, I was told there were only about 100 sold in the US that year.
Out of 849 total production I figured about 60% were sold in the US, or 509. 20% is 102 6spds.
