I am looking on eBay for a front lip for my 997.2 GTS.

Will the 997.1 Carrera front lips fit the 997.2 front bumper? I do not have the aero front bumper.

Here are the ones I am looking at.

The 997.1 front lip looks better than than the 997.2.

Has anyone installed this before? My 997.2 GTS bumper has tabs and I know these are 3M.

neither will fit your car - your bumper is a different design, with the bumper shape made for a wraparound lip. the .2 carrera bumper is designed for the front insert lip - there are wraparound .2 carrera lips but most do have fitment issues. Not to mention your mounting tabs will be in different spots then the .1 + .2 carrera bumpers

Thanks! Not much in the market. I'll be pre-ordering Maxton Design ones which take about 3-5 months to ship.

Other than, I change the whole front bumper.

is the maxton design lip for the carrera bumper or the GTS bumper.

i dont think ANY aftermarket supplier makes any lip for the gts bumper - there just isnt any market for it. i would double check to make sure the maxton one is meant to fit the gts bumper - otherwise itll be a lot of random holes drilled everywhere under the bumper type of install.

Yes, thats the only one I can find and confirmed fitment. Only for the GTS model this will fit.

I'll just have to order this one and wait.
