WTB.
Tubi style mufflers, or sytem.
My 2009 Carrera S, 997.2, right side muffler failing.
Looking for a replacement for muffler; mufflers.
Will consider entire system; reasonable price...

I think Tubi is a great choice. Had it on my -09 C4S and the sound was amazing. What's nice about the Tubi is that you can keep it close to stock quiet up to about 3,500 rpm. Past that it's a whole different song and tune though. So you can leave early mornings or come home late night without waking up your neighbors with obnoxious noise but still having the Tubi "noise" available once the oil is warmed up and you're out of the neighborhood.

You also get two new mufflers AND a center muffler bypass so a great package. No affiliation. Champion Porsche just threw it in at no cost when I bought the car from them after I expressed some dissatisfaction with the stock exhaust which to my ears sounded something like my wife's sewing machine.

I may have confused some with my post.
I currently have Tubi style system on car. However, the right side muffler is 'blown', rattling.
My shop of choice; Heights Motors, suggest replacing the muffler.
I like to stay with setup on the car.
I was hoping someone on the forum had a set of mufflers to sell...

If you want to stick with Tubi, I would reach out to Tubi to see if they will sell you a single muffler. If someone did have a used Tubi system for sale, I can't imagine them selling you only one muffler because that would render their system useless to any other perspective buyer.

Yeah you confused me but no big deal. I thought you were looking for a whole new system rather than just one Tubi muffler. Height Motors can't repair the "blown" muffler? I try to be positive whenever it makes sense but I have to say that finding a single, used Tubi muffler may be a challenge. But then, check with salvage shops around the country and you may luck out. Can't think of any other source for a single Tubi muffler.

Wonder how it would sound to have the Tubi muffler on one side and a stock muffler on the other. LOL.

Thanks for the inputs.
I'd replace both sides if I can find the mufflers.
I have not reached out to Tubi, yet. I am working on contacting a 'Rep' from Tubi, but it's been a bit difficult with the internet redirecting to other companies.
To be honest, I'm trying to save a 'penny', but realize I may have to spend for a replacement of the entire setup, as I really enjoy the exhaust system.
Oh, you may see a similar post from my original handle; dkj997.

Some of you may remember me, Darren.
I ran with Riesentoter PCA Region, early 2000s.
I retired from Philly and moved to Tampa FL...

It's probably a loose baffle inside the muffler. It could probably be opened up and weld back into place see link below. Post #4 mentions Tubi muffler fix, and post #12 mentions opening muffler and welding baffle.

You could always keep the one good Tubi, and replace the bad one with a Fister.

Then you'd have an "Italian tenor and a German baritone" duet going on when you drive...

Yup....something like that. Curious what it would sound like. Could be a good option for someone who likes both high and low pitch but can't decide

We are clearing out our storage now.
See Market Place listing Part Out 997.
If you end up needing stock let us know the part numbers you need. Will take a look.
Good Luck
