Finally got to install this Function 1st ****
It was sitting too long in my garage, so I installed in this past weekend. Looks cool, feels cool for now (probably hot in the summer), good size to the hand. Install is fairly easy, except to position the shift pattern just "right" if you are OCD like me. Wish it was a little cheaper - LOL.
Now, on to the steering wheel swap...nvr stops...
Function First Silver Finish with Red Shift Pattern.

Nah, thing is...I was actually waiting to install the Numeric short shift kit, but then I decided to wait to swap the cables as well to Numeric if I was going to do the whole surgery, but then it was taking too long for me to pull the trigger so I installed this pretty **** first. Truth be told, I replaced the pass air-bag light last year or so (I put up a post I think), thus I really don't want to take the center console off all over again this soon. Getting old man, and our cars drive pretty good as is. Haha.

I did the Numeric short shifter and yes, removing the center console definitely takes time. The hardest part for me was actually disconnecting the wiring harness! That sucker did not want to separate. I would love to do the shifter cables but my fear, since I won't do those myself, is that my mechanic will somehow damage the new leather console in the process of removing it...

You aren't wrong - I have the same **** and it gets HOT in the summer in Utah. The first few minutes requires a light touch and AC vents pointing as down as you can make them! But it has a great feel so it's worth it. And now I have a shift pattern tattoo on my palm that I got for free!
