I grew up in Passaic and now live in Trenton. After you get the 997 lets meet up and take a drive.

Hi, I just agreed on a price of $ 59, 444.00 on a 2009 997.2 cabriolet PDK with 51,900 miles. This includes taxes, etc out the door. This is pending PPI in a few days.

Congrats!

Sales tax varies so much state to state, it's hard to make an apples to apples comparison with an all inclusive price like that. What was the price of the car itself, excluding taxes and dealer fees?

Assuming this was from a dealer, that sounds about what I would expect. Feels a touch high if it were a private party sale, but judging how you phrased your post, sounds like a dealer.

I drove a 6MT cabriolet before I purchased my 6MT coupe and it drove very well, felt incredibly solid compared to some other convertibles I have driven. I'm sure you will love it.

@rodsdream is not the OP, so @Petza914 we don't yet know how much you missed it by. :-)

I'm guessing a 6sp dot 2 C2S goes higher.

I bit the bullet and paid $75k. I know I overpaid but what I had was a piece of mind that the car was well documented and taken care of. Most of the other listings I saw were from dealers, had PDK, were black or GT silver, from FL, or too many miles. This one checked all my boxes and will be arriving at my home soon. I’m very happy right now

Congrats! "Over paying" is subjective. Like I said, you won't even remember paying a few grand extra to get the right car a few years from now. Sounds like you made a great choice. Enjoy!

Congrats. The smiles per dollar and driving instead of hunting will quickly minimize the extra cash outlay.

2022 auction results for base cabs, usual sites. Its seems a good deal as cab prices have softened bit. Perhaps its seasonal. Great cars! (the prices below have the hammer price first then the price with buyer's premium. I track all variants of cabs but sorted the base cars.

Thanks
I just purchased pretty much that exact car for $64k a few weeks ago.
