Looking for someone to check a 997 out for me in Huston TX.
Hello! I have been shopping for a 997 for a long time and think I found “the one”. However it’s in Huston. The sale guy sent a video/pictures but it’s hard to get a good read. I’m hoping for find an enthusiast that would be willing to check it out for me in person and see if there is anything I should worry about…. Mainly just cosmetic imperfections and such. It’s at a dealership currently. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Truly looking forward to getting into my first Porsche.

I'm in Houston and maybe could maybe swing by .. I own a 997.2.
id still get a ppi if you have any doubts, but at least I could tell if I spot any immediate "walk away" red flags

I didn’t realize Houston is so big! It would be amazing if you can make it by, and isn’t to inconvenient for you. I’m pretty sure the bumper has been painted but not sure about the rest of the car. I’m mainly wanting to know about condition and general wear, the sales guy glossed over a few spots so another pair of eyes on it would be helpful before I fly out there to pick it up.
