Default 997.1 AEROKIT - Parts Diagram / Part Numbers / History

This is an overall guide for the 997.1 Aerokit.

As an afficionado of the Aerokit since it was released for the 996 platform, this second generation Aerokit Coupled with the more purist appearance of the 997 (round headlights/visually pronounced front fenders), I think (subjective) it is one of the best body designs produced by Porsche besides my all time favorite the 964 RS & Turbo.

History:
3/28/2005 - Porsche Parade in Bahrain – the first public showing of the 997 GT3 Cup. Three days after the 997 GT3 Cup was shown in Bahrain, the Aerokit was introduced for the coupé-bodied 911 Carrera and Carrera S. The Aerokit consisted of a GT3 Cup-style front spoiler and a different rear spoiler (a year later to be used on the GT3 street version) -. (https://www.stuttcars.com/porsche-911-997-the-story/)
(Rumor has it that is was designed initially for the 911 Carrera (Non GT series) but was carried over to the new GT3 and debuted on the GT3 for marketing purposes)

I just ordered an OEM bumper to do a little cosmetic upgrade - Will it come with everything i need in order to do the swap? Are the intake guides etc all the same?

Parts list with the order is:
aerokit bumper, spoiler, retaining frames, and installation components”

Best,
Alex

Am I reading it correct as that is not the Aerokit bumper part number and diagram picture. That's the OEM C2/C4/S 997.1 bumper.

Shouldn't it be this?

True that's prob why most they don't have a parts diagram pic of the actual Aerokit. The p/n for the Aerokit that I posted is correct though.

XAA is designated as a requirement for the front bumper. You need the bumper and retaining frame(Brackets) and lip spoiler.

Everything else should be reused. (Lights, ducting ect.)
