New to Porsche, How do we feel about RWB?
Hey guys, curious to see what the general consensus on the forums as about RWB.
Nakai’s recently started working on 997s, so I was curious if any here had one? Or is it a bad word around these parts? I actually didn’t know they were often disliked by porsche owners until recently.
Video for reference:
Basically trying to “feel out” the forum as I’m new to the scene and unfamiliar with larger thought processes that might be obvious to others.
Thanks!

There ok ... I get why he does what he does and I do appreciate the uniqueness of his work .... Im just not into mod's especially in the extreme sense of the word.

Akira Nakai's work is art and art is subjective, we all get to like the art we like.
I'm more interested in modifying (carefully) the way the car drives and rides on street and track. I've added Martini stripes on my car that, IMO, work with the lines of the car. That's as wild as I'm getting, there's already so much art of an engineering type in the car.

Love RWBs, especially the 964s.In the Porsche community, its generally a love/hate with them.
I have seen a few in person. In my eyes its art (masterpiece).

Not a fan. I don't like flares that's aren't integrated into the body and look bolted on.

It's all artwork, for sure. It makes more sense to me for some reason on the pre-993 cars. Imagining the cost of pulling this off well, I would save my shekels for more cars.
