Installed a Rennline fire extinguisher mount in my 2008 C2S. When I removed the seat I was surprised not to find an amp under the seat. I have a Bose PCM 2.1 with navigation but not a CD changer. Am I missing an amp? The sound is amazing as it is but I’m curious. I’ve had the car just over a year after importing it from California.

Wrong seat. It's under the passenger side if BOSE.

 

Had the passenger seat out too. No amp there either.

 

Apologies, I have a .2 and maybe they moved the Amp. My car looks identical to yours under the driver seat.

 

Found my amp in the frunk. So it looks like they did move it.

 

Bose amps are in the frunk, at least on both of my 997.1 coupes. There could be differences between .1s and .2s and between coupes and cabs, as they have subwoofer location differences too.
