Brake Pad Warning Light after Change
Installed new Hawk Ceramic pads on all four corners of my 997.1. Installed new non-Porsche warning sensors. Reputable brand. Thought I had everything installed correctly but getting brake pad warning error message on PCM. I’ll be pulling all the wheels and seeing if I can spot a broken sensor/wire or the like. If not, I might just clip them all and disable.
Just wondering if anybody has other suggestions on what else I should check or do. Is there a test I can do on each sensor to see which might be causing the alert?
Much thanks.

First ... There's no such thing as a good connection. Go back and unplug and plug in each connector several times so the sliding action on the pins will clean the contacts.

Advanced
If you have a multimeter you can set it to continuity and check that the new sensors have continuity across them at the connector. Insert a prob and each side. That will narrow down the issue to the connection or the new sensor.

It was my father-in-law who stressed the "No such thing as a good connection" mantra. And he was right. Often, even if you find a component failure, the problem started with a poor connection causing out of tolerance voltage or current conditions.
This concept goes beyond electrical problems. It can also be applied to mechanical parts.
My other mantra is actually a question ... What does an over lubricated bearing (or chain) look like?
Good luck troubleshooting and please report back.

Problem solved - rookie mistake. One of the sensors was't pushed in completely into the connector. Did heed Wayne and Petza914's advice while I had the wheels off checking and sprayed contact cleaner into each connector, let it sit awhile, used compressed air to blow out any residue and then plugged/unplugged the connector a couple of times to ensure clean pins.
Thanks for the good help.
