Default What can cause such damages to 997 seats

This is on a 997.2
What can cause such damages? I don't recall there is such options that you can adjust upper portion of the seat back, like the BMW's.

I believe the top of the seat center clips in so it looks like it is not engaged....pull up on the top and it should come out completely and then re install.

Did you ever get this figured out? I was wondering how hard it was to remove the center bolster and reinstall it? I have a chirp on my inside upper bolster. It’s likely not engaged...

Easy - just pull it up and out and then reinsert and clip it in properly.
