Default Rear Deck Lid Plastics

Hey all, looking at the decklid from behind the car, if you look in you can see a lot of really faded plastic:

Here's more of an obvious close-up

Is that pretty simple to dress / pretty up? If I were getting the car detailed, should I assume they will tidy that up, or should I ask them to remove the fan in the hood? I am assuming that is pretty easy but haven't really looked into it yet.

That needs to be washed first. Use a pH neutral soap, like Adams Car Shampoo. Afterwards, further clean those parts with either 303 Aerospace Protectant or (better) Nextzett Aktiv Autobalsam Vinyl-Rubber Extra. Use a towel guided by a hard spatula or a brush to do that.

Once cleaned recoat with the product and lightly buff/dry.

Thanks for the tips! Is it better to just do the work through the slats or is this easily removable?

I would try (without forcing anything) to do it as is, no parts removal. Wash it first and then use the plastic coating product with plenty of product applied on a soft towel guided through the slats. Use a long thin spatula or paint bucket mixer wrapped on a soft MF towel.

It would be easier to remove the top port of the spoiler and clean it from there.
