Rear Upper Wing Removal and Restore Under Trim 997 997.2
Greetings,
Restored plastic under trim of the rear wing (spoiler). Turned stale white film looking inner trim (see photo A) to pristine black shine (see photo B and C).
Raise wing. Remove 4 plastic plugs on edge of where wing meets rear brake light (see photo D). The hole will reveal a T20 screw (see photo E). Unscrew screws and the wing will pop off. I washed the wing top and bottom. Make sure nothing falls into in the intake holes - I used a towel. Use your favorite plastic restore solution and massage the plastic inner trim.
Install the wing back and tighten screws - make sure the wing is tight and does not move - pop the plugs back in the holes. Lower wing.
Good luck!
