Why are you replacing that? The secondary AOS units aren't like the primary one that has a membrane that fails. They're just compartmentalized baffles and there's really nothing in them to fail, unless the plastic housing itself cracks. If there's oil back there it's likely the corrugated plastic pipe coming from it that's failed.

Hello Petza914, thank you for your response . This car smokes on start up has low miles and I was advised to replace this kit which includes three oil separators. Porsches version of a PCV/ Breather system . I replaced the AOS up top and the separator on the front of the Right Cyl head and all the plastic piping but do I really want to remove the right plenum ..... NO... This car is auto so there is no access from the bottom because of the trans cooler. If your telling me to leave it alone that would be fine with me . There is no oil leaks back there so . I have alldata and Mitchell and there is very little info about this system . I appreciate your help. Thanks Angelo

You can remove it without removal of the plenum

If it's not an issue I'd put that part away for a "Future" project and just move on. But, that's why my garage is filled with parts so maybe don't listen to me LOL.

I bought those two when I was going work on my car and after looking at the new part, put them back in the parts cabinet as there's really nothing to fail there, unlike the main AOS has.
