Gents,
I'm struggling to download the provided maps on my iPhone. I'm hitting the little dots (...) in Google Maps but I can't find any option to download them. Any further tips or suggestions? Thanks!

I would suggest downloading the region into an offline map on google maps. To do this on an iOS device:

Open the app
Tap the far right of the search bar on your icon just to the right of the microphone.
Go to offline maps
Tap select your own map
Use the box to select the region in which we will be driving (Knoxville to Johnson City to Greenville SC is a safe area)

This will get you the entire area saved offline. So should you get broken up from the group you will still have the ability to navigate. I know this does not answer your exact question and apologies if you already knew this process, but it can be helpful to have.

Can't wait! Weather does look ideal. Especially for those with forced induction! Anyone here in group 6 with Leo?

Hey Eric,
That was going to be my backup plan, so as long as I have the whole region I should be good to go. Thank you! I just hate not being able to figure out tech-related things like downloading the individual routes...annoys me. Thanks again.

I completely understand. I have found that if I pin the maps and they are within the downloaded map region I am usually good to go. The FRS radios help a lot as well to make sure the groups are together, but it is only a matter of when, not if the groups get split at a light along the way and the radios don't have the range.

I'm in Group 3 now as well. I'll be driving my orange 987 Boxster...leaving my 997 at home this time. See you out there!

Such a fun weekend. I am already looking forward to June. We went ahead and booked are rooms for the spring and next fall. It is always hard to recalibrate your driving after an event like this. On the way home I had to keep correcting my pace and slow things down.

Awesome group of people and enjoyed meeting all of those that I did out there. Hope to see you all again at the next one!

Haha...totally. It was just like leaving a track day. Typical traffic patterns feel like they are moving in slow motion. Me too!

The Killboy photos from the weekend are out and they got some good ones! It is a really cool part of the weekend that these downloads are all included in full res!

Awesome pics! I just moved to Knoxville last month and my cars are arriving tomorrow so I missed this event by a week. I'll definitely be in for the next one.
