The rear reflector is great until the seal goes bad and it cracks with a replacement cost of $13XX. It looks great but it's cheaply made and extremely overpriced. I'm assuming that has to do with lack of them being made, and small batches. It's happened to a few of us here.

+1 on the red reflector on the .2 4/4S. Obviously 100% subjective but to me it always seemed like an afterthought and not very well integrated into the design. I understand it is a throwback to rear of the air cooled 911s but those worked because the strip was the same height as the tail lights. On the 997.2, the strip is so small compared to the height of the tail lights, it just looks off to me.
Wide body=complete win
Reflector strip=hard pass

The only flaw on 992 4S that I personally notice is the stop light on the grille which seems too big and awkward in shape.
I would have used thin and different shaped LEDs.

Have you driven one? I used to think I would not like the 991.2S (small biturbo) but when I drove it, I thought it was great. Great power and torque down low, still sounded nice, and to me, nothing really not to like. I’m sure the 992 is great too. As long as it’s a manual, I’m happy with any 911. These S vs non S, 2 vs 4 models, tail light bar vs no light bar discussions are kinda silly. I prefer my 2S to the 4S I’ve driven, but doesn’t mean I’d not be happy with the 4 either. There’s no bad 911.

The 992 is cool, it's not a traditionalist 911 but for a modern era it is and thats the direction they're going. I like the hood lines closest to the windshield paying homage to the older cars, look at the bottom of the hood they even payed homage to the long hood days of the past. It's cool, large but what are you going to do. Hopefully I can afford a used one in 10 years to sit next to my .2 4s. I was happy to even own one. I got lucky at the bottom of the depreciation curve. Now i'd be looking at a .2 base. And if that's all I could swing I'd be happy there also.
