Have had them fitted for 8 years combined with TPC's DSC and a bunch of RSS pieces. Absolutely love the setup.

That’s good to here I’ve had Bilstein in a couple of my other vehicles years ago and recall them being awesome, mine is a 4s road car which I purchased recently & I’m keen to do the odd track day in it.
question it appears you need a top hat? Or can you use the factory top hat mount? You look like you may have adjustable aftermarket top mounts?

cheers phil

I used different top mounts because I needed to create compatibility with the GT3 version of the Cargraphic AirLift noselift kit that's installed. You can use stock top mounts with the B16s. Also, for the 4S there are actually 2 versions of B16s made, a stiffer Sport version and a softer Comfort version. For the RWD cars (like mine) they only make the Sport version, so I wouldn't be afraid of going that route.

Thanks for the compliment - I have more photos of this car than anyone probably wants to see. Here are a few

It was Porsche built with a documented and serialized RUF conversion done by RUF Auto Center in Dallas in 2007 before they became RAC, so it has a Porsche VIN and not a RUF VIN.

Best I can tell, it's one of 3 997 based R-Kompressor cars in the US. There is a black one in GA and a white convertible that Sloan Motor Cars used to have (don't know if they still do or if they sold it). There were 2 more, but one was changed to a turbo setup in Jacksonville (I own the complete supercharger setup and DME from that car as a spare), and there was another GT Silver car that was sold out of Miami in 2010 or 2011 to an owner in Chile.

Thanks. They're aftermarket and called the "turbo style" led frint lights. I have them wired via a current sensing DRL module through an SPDT relay so whenever the engine is running the current difference senses by the module picks the relay and sends power to the lights. It also has a feature where they remain on for about 30 seconds after shutting off the car (kind of like the Home function), but managed by the module. If it moved the switch to home, it would light the brighter fog lights too.

I just had them installed. Car feels great. The stiffness of new set up in normal mode is about what you had on the stock set up in sport mode. I was a little nervous it would be too stiff (as I daily drive mine). Those worries are fading as I drive the car more, get used to it. There is no doubt, they are a handling improvement. I'd also say, they are stiff but not harsh. You won't need a kidney belt to drive the car.
