Question Passenger side exhaust tip too high after motor mount replacement

I replaced the motor mounts on my 997.1 this morning with Febi Bilstein Motor Mounts.

Driver side went well and came out like expected but the passenger side exhaust tip is very high and almost touching the bumper. I removed the mount on the passenger and reinstalled it with the same result. I then put the old mounts back on and swapped and driver side and passenger side mount and it was also the same result so I don't believe the issue is related to the motor mount.

Is there a way to adjust the height? of the exhaust so that the tip isn't touching the bumper?

Driver side before.

Driver side after.

Passenger side.

A couple of things - 1) the stock tips on my C2S are adjustable to a degree (you can loosen the tip's collar and then attempt to adjust to your taste), 2) you may want to verify that the motor is "level" after your new mounts - measure each side from a good reference point to a "solid" left side and right side point (something that's not moveable, maybe a symmetric exhaust pipe). As far outboard from the centerline of the engine as possible. Maybe the engine carrier itself would be an alternate (although I'm not sure how much play there is when it gets bolted to the block).

You want to eliminate the chance that the motor mounts brought the engine to "not level" after they were cinched up.

Those tips can be easily adjusted for rotation and pivot. Loosen the connection bolt and grab both pipes and have at it.

It was expensive/time consuming and I tried being super quiet crawling into your garage last night.
I think I got the Tip looking better

Thanks for the tip. I measured from a couple different locations and they are all the same. I then took a look at adjusting the tip and I was able to get them to the location I wanted. Little did I know I would spend more time adjusting both tips than I did replacing the motor mounts.

Chalk it up to a learning experience. Should the need arise later on, you'll be able to adjust them as may be required.
