Default New steering wheel installed and it all works!

Such a simple mod and really updates the car! Got the wheel from a member here and the airbag from atlanticship on ebay - shipped from Belarus and got here in about a week, perfect condition.

Just got done doing this as well. Heated multifunction. Need new clockspring, control module, coding, as well as the wheel/airbag.

Otherwise it’s just swapping wheels. I believe you need to have multifunction coded on for horn to work.

Tempted to do this. I currently have a 997.1 with multifunction triangle airbag wheel.

Doing research some say the horn works with a plug and play, and others say you need an adapter or reprogram. Haven’t decided if it’s worth the headache to try

if u already have a MF wheel. even with your current .1 steering wheel adapter the new horn will 100% work.

not sure why but the newer horns need 'multiFunction ON' set to work. which yours already is.

Plug and play for just the wheel. Horn needs multifunction enabled.

if you want multifunction you need Paul Lis adaptor, $300-400 depending on sale and if you want heated function.

if you want heat need Clockspring ($150), module ($400) and reprogramming.
