Has anyone had issues with the electronic front lid switch not working or working intermittently? The rear engine lid works perfectly.

 

The switch is subject to failure where it hinges. Push down on the hinge as you pull up on the front. Does it work then? Does you key fob work consistently? If neither works you may have to worry about the front computer, the latch, or the battery.

No matter what I would quickly add a release cable from the bottom of the latch to the right side running light so you'll be able to get in easily should the latch release fail completely.

 

Find Wayne's write-up on this release cable as it includes photos and is quite good as it also.explains how the latch release works. While you're doing that add one for the rear decklid too instead of it being behind the taillight as you can't get the taillight out without the engine lid open to access it.
