Rowing 3 pedals barefoot....
I know I will get some flack for this, though I will say if you have not done this before, you definitely should put this on your bucket list.
I did this last night for an after-dinner drive and rowing 3 pedals while barefoot was a very tactile experience...Especially in the 997 the connection to the car, road and driver was closer...

Aww, fer cryin’ out loud OP, such lofty praise - and you were only barefoot. Seems like you’re on the brink of being an autosexual. Just come out of the garage, drive naked, and be done with it. We, or at least I, won’t judge you!

I drive barefoot most of the time. Living in Hawaii, I wear slippers (slippahs) or flip flops 100% of the time.
My car in SoCal, which is conducive to sandals 10 months of the year, follows suit. If super cold, I wear my "driving shoes".
(My "driving shoes" are minimalist trail running models with a wafer thin sole.)
I find barefoot heel-and-toe shifting and subtle brake modulation are much easier than with shoes on.
When in Sport mode, the throttle sensitivity increases by half and modulating the gas pedal is a bit tricky until underway.
It is a snap when barefoot.
