Here's my C2! 110,500 miles and counting, with my Audi UrS6 Avant that has 300,000 or so. Taken at a car show in Helen GA this weekend called Alpine Volksfair.

YES! That's amazing. Keep them alive! Both cars are looking great.
11+ fun filled and glorious years of ownership. Purchased with only 6k miles in 2010. Just celebrated 90,000 miles yesterday while blasting through the canyons at warp speeds and averaging 11 mpg!
Also, just installed the DSC suspension control module just before the canyon run. No regrets so far! I will plug it in to my computer during some much needed time off to see the software setup, but out of the box, my overall impression is similar to what others have said. Takes the harshness out of everyday driving and is more compliant in normal mode. Also brake dive under hard braking is almost eliminated and the car feels more flat and stable through the corners. Just feels more confident through the fast sweepers. Less wiggle and weave on the back end. Less skip and bounce on the front end in the tight stuff with rough roads.
Here is it's current condition at 90k miles and 15 years old:
Tire pressure high because I just completed 30 miles of canyon runs and I just pulled over to take a quick photo of 90,000 miles
Looks amazing for the mileage. Based on the pictures, if you told me it had 30,000 miles on it I would have no reason not to believe you. And here I am concerned about high 67K miles about to enter the 68K mile range.
what lowering springs do you have? Car looks great! Any major problems hitting that mileage?
Am on stock PASM springs still. Planning to swap over to KWs or Ohlins as the stock struts/shocks are starting to feel a bit crashy. No major issues thus far; just the usual suspects like waterpumps, AOS, brakes/rotors, light bulbs, oil changes, tie rods, etc. I did fully refresh all the suspension arms and bushings around 155k miles which tightened things up nicely.

Thanks! Atlas grey is fantastic at hiding a lot of the hard miles. If you look in closely, you'll notice there's quite a lot of rock chips on the frunk. I'd like to get the front clip repainted in the nearish future and also refresh the car's look with an aerokit bumper.
Beyond standard maintenance I have replaced ...
Front strut upper mounts (geometry issue on AWD)
Motor mounts (hardest version, tightened up the rear)
Transmission mounts (the OEMs look pathetic)
Front axle boot (chip seal damage)
Front computer (weird failure)
Frunk struts (to support hood protector)
Due to replace ...
All struts (DSC added*)
Center console (grandkids walked on it)
Bose amp (occasional reboot issues)???
With all running costs excluding gas I'm at around 16 cents a mile. That includes all maintenance as well as mods, the lists above, plus the costs to replace the windshield and to paint the front end after getting stuck in a sandstorm in the Mojave Desert.
By far this is the most reliable car I've ever owned.
* I added DSC and recalibrated the rear shocks and, while they are working, in extreme twisting roller coaster road conditions they are showing their age.

Thought it was a black car but that's the beauty of Atlas. Changes color with different light. Saw one on a cloudy day and it looked dark, dark blue with some gray mixed in. It's probably my favorite color on the 997 but so few were painted in Atlas they're almost impossible to find. Had the frunk repainted on my -06 C4S after dropping a garden tool on it in the garage. About $600 as I recall it. Not sure how much an aerokit bumper runs these days.
Hey Pete, is your wife's pink a wrap or paint? Pretty amazing color and I'm guessing a 100% one-off?
Custom Pink Pearl paint. I did all the disassembly and reassembly for the paint shop. We bought black over black specifically because we knew we were going to paint it. That's the best starting combo for a repaint, because when you open the engine compartment, it just looks dark and normal instead of a 3rd color being there. Any tiny spot that gets missed at the threshold or window seal area also then blends with the black interior and doesn't stick out.
We got it back from the paint shop the day before I was leaving for Italy for a week. Was up until 3 AM putting it back together for her to drive while I was gone.
Car looked like this when we bought it.
Fitting of the Vorsteiner bumpers, modifying the radiator intake scoops, and cutting the front vent.
