Nice work. It was a labor of love painstakingly entering VIN's into Vinanalytics.com and pulling out the data. Sometimes entering dozens of VIN's to find the GTS needle hidden in the C2's and C4's of sequential production numbers.
I'm sure the entire community agrees with me - this was an incredible effort on your part that helps everyone. We can't thank you enough.

My absolute pleasure to follow your and other's efforts here to bring it home. I really wanted a GTS, 6MT, non-black interior car. Couldn't find one and "settled" for my '12 C4S with black/sandbeige full leather. LOVE the car. But you know how it is. Really want that X51 plenum and heads lol. Now that I've done the math I see how insanely rare my 'ideal spec' 997 GTS is. I would have been waiting forever for the 'right' car. So happy with my purchase!

I didn't see any two color full leather cars like mine there at all (my C4S shows "Black/Sand Beige" on the build sheet for interior color).
Question for you, did you see any custom interiors? I don't remember anything out of the ordinary besides plastic, Alcantara, or full leather. I wondered if it was even an option back then for that model due to the lack of even one.

I don't see the interior code listed on the Rennlist VIN lookup tool. Is there some trick to getting it, or just post the VIN on vinanalytics.com? Sorry for the noob question.

OK, I don't remember those but also when entering black interior in leather X00 times your eyes glaze over. Member @Body In White contributed a lot also and filled in the gaps. The special interiors info was probably provided by him. I was probably thinking of the two color interiors.
A C4S isn't necessarily settling. I spent 2 years looking before I found my GTS. Most people don't have that kind of patience. I'm just stubborn. With such a limited run and then if wanting other than a white exterior and black interior, your odds go down dramatically, especially if you don't want to wait. I have 1 of the 2 Speed Yellow 6 speed Cabs. I just wanted a 6 speed Cab. Wasn't interested in Yellow, too loud for me but was love at first sight. Truly an exceptional build. I had no idea how rare and great of a build it was until I started this thread. In retrospect I was extremely lucky and in the right place/time to snag it. Would have been sold the next morning if I didn't put a deposit on it the day it listed.
I just wanted to settle once and for all the number/percentage of 6spd/PDK cars that were built. Speculation was 10-20% 6 speed builds. Turns out it's closer to 40% for all builds but around 30% for Cabs.
The X51 package is nice. Really not much faster than the standard 3.8L but a little more oomph at higher rpm's. The best part about it is with an exhaust bypass, better noise out the back. The GTS package is special as documented here and elsewhere and I especially like my Cab despite the "inferiority" of it to the Coupe. I look at it this way, It's basically a 997 Speedster (which wasn't available in a manual) that I can actually drive and not lose tens of thousands of dollars by doing so. Plus the number of 6 speed Cabs is dwarfed by the number of Speedsters, so we're even more exclusive.......at least I keep telling myself that......

Top choice colors I'm looking for besides Ipanema are: Any of the Blues, Speed Yellow, Red.
Basalt Black over Nat Brown/Beige or Alcantara.

Yes...Got a warranty...Although it seems perfect after about 2K added miles!
I am happy so many were scared of the DME...LOL! Have not had a chance to get my local Indy to run it (as they felt something was not accurate with it...Did not make sense).
