Default Who sells the best header studs?

I installed headers a few months back. I'd like to install a stud kit for easy removal {should I have too}. Ant recommendations?
Thank you.

I don’t have an answer for you but some copper antiseeze one at a time will prevent you any headaches in the future.

I use stainless socket cap bolts with copper anti-seize on them. This also lets me use a ball end Allen which makes access easier from different differrnt angles.

The problem with studs is its sometimes difficult to get the header flange over them when trying to install the header unless it can go straight on and if the nut seizes, it in threads the stud and is just like having a bolt then, except harder to get thr nut off the stud. Studs can also get buggered up over time whereas with a bolt, you just install a new one.

Bumping this thread. I’m in the process of reinstalling my headers but would like to get a better bolt or stud for the re-install. I was thinking of going with this?

Does anyone have some links to bolts or studs they recommend?

I think those are too short. I went down this rabbit hole with my header install but just ended up going with SS bolts and copper antisieze as well. I had to drill out 7 of the 12, it was not fun. I think the OEM bolt length is 40mm

I measured the stock bolt and its 20-21mm for the threaded shaft. The APR is 20mm. It seems to be the nearly the same. Even the head size is the same at 15mm.

Before I pulled the trigger on these, I wanted to see what everyone else was using.

Overkill... but went with the Silverlake Ti stud kit - ARP SS stud/bolts would've been perfectly adequate but looking back definitely worth the retail therapy after snapping manifold bolt heads (I had to drill them out using the Stomski kit).

I do dig the low-profile jetnuts included in the kit, helped me better maneuver around the Fabspeed headers on my 997.2

Those look great. I wonder why they are listed for 09/12 models? Did'nt know 05/08 were different.

I think the stud spec is the same, only difference being the count - there are 18x studs provided for the .2 and 12x studs for .1

I'm researching what to use with my new manifolds on my 981 and Silverlake Ti or Inconel is an option w/ some Nickel anti-seize. If my research is correct, I shouldn't have any issues w/ seizing in the head. Question though, did you just hand tighten the studs in there? Or did you double-nut each one and crank them down?

Double nut and torqued to 22 ft/lbs - looking back, I could've used
something like this something like this
due to lack of space - I have the Fabspeed headers which are known for the lack of access to center bolt locations
