Kinesis Wheels?
#16
I worked there super long ago but they were not clear coated from my memory...back in 1995, lol... The thing is, everything was custom back then. So, if you wanted them done a certain way, we would either do it, or have it done how people asked.
You can usually tell on any wheels older than a few years if they are clear coat or polished with no coat though.
The fact that the back rim section is black indicates that someone either rebuilt these or that they were built well after I worked there too. That seems to be a more recent thing people do.

Please help - wheels have arrived. I have never owned 3 piece wheels. They do not have any valve stems. The have a tube that enters the center of the the barrel and terminates in one of the rivet holes. What valves do I need?
Also - what about TPMS?
Can anyone help with these two issues?

In that case, a TPMS may or may not work - you may be able to combine the stem and TPMS, but might not work.
TPMS is relatively easy to code out, otherwise. good luck.

They look good. Still haven’t mounted tires on mine. Debating whether to do so or sell them since they’re brand spanking newly refinished etc.
anyway, how’s your resolve the mounting and tpms issue?

Those wheels look great. Particularly good since they were used. Glad this worked out but I will prob never by used wheels again as the last 2 sets I’ve bought were bent. Still saved money after straightening but quite a PITA.
