Default Reverse light error

When starting my 997 6mt I get a warning "check reverse lights" lights are working. Recently installed LED lights with plug and play, first day they worked fine. To test I reinstalled both oem incandescent lights and I still get the same error. Any ideas?

Likely need to add a resistor because the LEDs aren’t drawing enough amperage to let the car know they are working.

How is it the led lights when I get the same error now that the oem lights are back in it?

The bulb controller logged the error and that's why you still get the code. If you have the OEM incandescent bulbs back in, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes which will reset the bulb control module and then the error will be gone on the next restart. DON'T LATCH THE FRUNK WITH THE BATTERY DISCONNECTED.

dang, you are correct, now to try to get a replacement resistor, tracked the error using your method to the passenger light.
