Selling my exhaust from my 05 997 Carrera S if anyone is interested, check it out on Ebay. We spent a lot of time and money finding just the right combination of components and the Kreissieg exhaust were the most critical of all the components. It was honestly, I think, was one of the best sounding exhausts full stop. I still miss that car and the noises it made, hope someone here can enjoy it now.

Looking at the YouTube photos, the piping in interesting... when the valvetronic valve is closed, does the exhaust exit out the megaphone looking pipe at the front side of the mufflers, so is that pipe open in the front or is it closed and just shaped that way?

Based on the photos (see link below), the pipe you mention is closed, and when the valve is closed it is essentially a straight pipe. I’m no expert in exhaust gas flow so perhaps the length and bends does something to sound.

Strobes and LEDs, they were something the previous owner (my friend/business partner) added at one point many years ago for, well... not actually sure why... safety I guess haha?

Not sure, when the valve was closed the noise level was closer to stock in terms of db, but the tone was deeper. The Kreisseig mufflers were significantly smaller and lighter than than OEM, but not sure how the internals specifically compare to OEM. Perhaps yes open was close to a straight pipe from the CAT out and closed routed the exhaust through several chambers to quiet things down.
