This 06 911 S being sold with "no issues". I have gone and seen the car in person and even got a ppi on the car. There are many issues with the car, don't want someone to go for this without knowing the issues as it was very misrepresented to me. Some of the minor things are rear bumper is a fiberglass one not factory, front bumper is plastic and appears to be factory or good repo. The passenger front rim has a bend in it. Back of driver seat has a scratch in the carbon fiber. Front passenger tire was replaced separate from the rest. The psm and abs lights are on. Then the two major things to be aware of. The rear drivers wheel bearing is bad. The transmission most likely needs a rebuild, it grinds in gear. The seller knows about this and took it to the dealership a few months back and they suggested and quoted for a new transmission. Would hate to hear someone bought the car without knowing about these things and have to deal with them later on.

Sounds like what the market will be full of shortly as 997 prices took a dip. People picked them up cheap, modified them accordingly, beat the f out of them and want to capture the 997 up sale in value. I've been seeing more and more in this condition, granted some of the parts are cool, but the cars just arent taken care of in the way that should equal value. Probably more of a mid-low 20's, rebuild the transmission, swap bearings and swap wheels and you have a decent car

I wonder if this is the original VF 997 and got bounced around from owner to owner.

You guys are nuts! That is market for an average condition 997.1 C2S in stock form. If I were the seller I wouldn’t be interested in anyone looking for a stock car given the supercharger and seat. Those two things alone take a special buyer who wants those things and will pay, anyone else shouldn’t even be looking. The seats and supercharger make that a mid-40s car. Given the issues noted the asking price is fair price if not a good price if you want a supercharged 997.

Same here. With all the wheel options out there, why these? And how do you trash a 997 manual transmission in 54K miles? My -06 manual C4S had close to 50K miles on it when I sold it. Transmission was like a hot knife through butter, even with a B&M short shift kit. Makes me wonder how the car was driven in general.

The rims on that car will do a good enough job of keeping buyers at bay.
On a positive note - no report of bore scoring, so that perhaps can be a car to many that is attractive already, despite all those issues (considering PPI was done and it was clean).
997 is a mass made car, 200000+ . It is not anything "special" and wont hold value. Everyone who buys them with that in mind should seriously check their bearings. You buy experience, you drive it.
