Default Ebay Reclining bucket Reps- anyone have them?

So I really want buckets- and any pair I buy will need completely redone as I have sand beige interior. They also need to recline as I still want to use the back seat.

Anyone get these? Just curious on fit and function as they will get completely recovered in sand beige leather.

recaro sportster CS is another way more expensive option, but I just have such a hard time spending the premium and then gut them.

Do you want to be the first person that tests how the seat does in the case of an impact?

If not, then buy OEM. Things like steering wheels, airbags, seats have such a critical safety factor that you don't want to mess with aftermarket fly by night stuff.

Seriously - at $485, what do you think you expect? I for one would not be gambling my life there.

^^^ IDK if it is still up but there was a guy doing funny tests where he would try to ruin the real version and then ruin the fake versions. You can really see how dangerous fake parts are in his tests. It was mostly JDM stuff + some Recaro and Momo parts.

I would HIGHLY recommend NOT buying fake parts ESPECIALLY on a Porsche. I do not even condone fake parts on civics but on a 911, you should have your car impounded by the Porsche Police.

Why not just pick up a nice set of leather Recaros? Still much cheaper than OEM and you’d probably be able to keep a recline feature.

Seats are a safety feature. Would definitely rather have the Sportsters than the reps. Try and find a used set and then have them recovered.

oh recaro are certainly in the cards. I was just seeing if anyone had them whatsoever.

the sportster cs checks all the boxes. You just can’t get them in beige so they need recovered.

the Sportster CS would be perfect in my book. Quality seats that look good and recline. I think you can even get heated ones...

I believe that cobra will do seats in any color you want if you order them new. Not sure how much extra it costs but they make some very nice seats, Misano's would be the closest to sportsters.

The tastefully modded CSR 997 is one of my favorites, with houndstooth Sporster CS:
