cwheeler thanks for the advice, I spoke to my Indy (KMC in Lawrence) and he agrees it is unusual. Taking the car in next Friday to investigate.

57k miles

I burn .4L of oil (one bar on the digital gauge) every 550-600 miles, so roughly 1 quart or 1 liter every 1,500 miles. I've owned my car for a year and a half, and have put 7k miles on the car. I switched to Millers CFS 10W-50 NT+ in the Spring from Motul Xcess 5W-40. My oil consumption has been consistent between both brands and viscosities of oil since I've owned my car.
