Default Will My Jack & Jack Stands Be OK? (pics)

I'm thinking my jack is ok. The four teeth on the jack scare me, but I think there's enough clearance with the hockey puck in place.... But the jack stands probably won't work. The hockey puck is not very stable sitting on top of the jack stand. Will the weight of the car stabilize the hockey puck? Thanks!!

I agree with you Snaphappy - the jack is fine, but those pucks will create a very unstable situation on the jacks themselves. This is what I used until I got a Quickjack: http://liftbars.com/.

The liftbars are great - I've used them on my 928s, Boxster and now 997 for years. Fast, easy, very safe (rock solid), cheap, and get the car high.

I have a pair of lift bars that are no longer needed if someone is interested in purchasing them.

IMO, hockey pucks are very stable... they compress slightly and therefore manage any slight angle present.

Check this out.... I use LiftBars and they allow me to jack and use jack stands. Very stable and tight fitting using standard jack stands.

You spent money on those nice pucks.... I considered them but honestly, a $1 hockey puck works really well.
I got the orange ones here. I got the orange ones here.

I echo the Esco jackstands but looking at your setup, it should be fine. I'd even suggest keeping the jack against the control arms for added security.
