Default Extended Warranty - 3rd party Recommendations

Hello ..

Am very close to buying a 2011 997.2 C2S (w/PDK) with around 26K miles on it. For peace of mind, I have decided to get an extended warranty. I have reached out to a few companies ~ Fidelity, Endurance etc..
Any specific recommendations for Porsches? The cost of Endurance is less as compared to Fidelity and is an exclusionary policy .

Honestly, I prefer a policy that has the best coverage over a low premium cost.

Please help.. and thank you in advance !!

Fidelity Platinum is great coverage. They paid out for an $11k DSG transmission on my Audi S4. I know you specifically asked about Porsche, but the coverage is identical.

Google Michael Jourdan Fidelity Warranty. He offers good pricing to Rennlisters.

No personal experience, but I know a few people who buy them from Ford and have for many, many cars. It's a Ford factory extended warranty and you can use it on virtually any used car provided you get a (cheap) PPI on the car at a Ford dealer BEFORE you buy it. Yes, I understand it's not the best PPI but I'm talking about the warranty, per se.

Again, I have not done this but people I know and trust have on MBs, BMWs, etc.

Thx!

Bob

Posted this reply on 6 speed where you asked the same question:

Got burned by a lesser known and less expensive company and I've used Fidelity for two E46 M3's and three 997's since that experience. Never had an issue with coverage with them. Join Rennlist and you get a 45% discount on Fidelity with Michael Jourdan at Mossy Motors in New Orleans.
Email: mjourdan@mossymotors.com
Phone or text: 504-352-8796 (he likes to text)

No affiliation with Michael other than a satisfied customer btw.

There is another thread on Endurance on this forum as we speak. https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...-a-repair.html

Endurance does not offer a contract in California FWIW. After you get quotes from them and 45% off retail on a Fidelity post your results here if you don't mind. As others have mentioned Fidelity is a trusted name here. Not a lot of feedback on Endurance good or bad, but they seem to have a decent rep out on the web..

Thank you everyone for your input. I had a chance to connect with a local Porsche Dealership Service manager and he recommended Fideltiy as well.

LaSalle warranty company.. I won't accept any other extended warranty.. All the others are a true pain in the ***.
LaSalle is awesome, I have never had the owner of the company deny any claim, or even argue. They pay instantly, and never come back later with crap to deal with.
I have horror stories that most would not believe.

Can anyone recommend an aftermarket for California car coverage?
