Default New LED turn light bulb problem

Hello everyone;
Looking for guidance on this issue.
I fitted amber Superbright CanBus LEDs to the front and rear turn lights and wired in their 50W resistors.
The LED bulbs don't hyper flash BUT the dash indicators hyper flash a few seconds after activation.
I changed back to filament bulbs and the bulbs and the dash display doesn't hyper flash.

The LED reverse lights w. resistors work fine so I assume the resistors are the compatible with the harness.
What should I check for?

everything has to be correctly wired positive and negative. You can reverse the leds. But I havent see any separate resistors in years, all common leds have error free resistor circuit built in. You can but almost any error free leds on ebay

It's because when you activate the light, it works normally until the bulb control module senses the resistance isn't right, then it hyperflashes. Have you watched the outside lights to see that they never hyperflash even when the dash is? Do they actually still flash when dash hyperflashes or do they shut off and stop blinking. If it does it enough times, the bulb control module may end up cutting power to the circuit all together and the lights won't flash at all. The license plate lights are nortorious for doing this after being replaced with LEDs and require a battery disconnect and reconnect to get them functioning again.

IMO, you're better off leaving the original incandescent bubs if keeping the regular lights or using the proved LED conversion lights with the integrated proper resistors. Also, which resistors did you use - the open metal ones or the encapsulated canbus versions. Those open metal ones get ridiculously hot and I wouldn't use them.

Thanks Petza914

The outside turn LED lights don't hyper flash, just the dash lights. I'm using the encapsulated CanBus resistors.
It's baffling as I switched the reverse lights to LEDs w. resistors as well as the rear fog and side marker lights.
No error codes.

Did you ever find a solution? I just installed can bus rear turn signals and just like yours, the exterior lights blink normal but the dash hyper-flash.

Both my 997s have the DEPO / Dectane LEDs and the aftermarket front LEDs, so I don't have any error codes or issues.

I was trying to illicit a response from PAMITCHELL. Glad yours are working well, however.

Hi there;

I'm going from memory here but I believe the problem was solved by switching to these bulbs.
No more hyper flashing or error codes since install.

I’ve got the 195/wedge LED’s in the front and interior working without any issue. It’s the rear turns that are causing a problem.
