Default Porsche Classic Key Pouch

Ok I just got this car and I may already be going over the top on baubles. Ordered a set of rubber mats from Suncoast and just had to throw in this overpriced Porsche Classic key pouch. I wanted something to protect my key from getting scratched up in my pocket by my house key. This is the perfect fit for the 997 key, and feels nice and slim in my pocket!

Seems a bit overprotective for a key fob but it might also help for accidental truck openings and scratching your phone in the same pocket. Unless you carry a man-purse or a regular purse.

I have double protection. Lol. Blue pouch to match my Midnight Blue 997 and a keyhead cover in case the key falls to protect from it breaking into a million pieces.

Ha, I may need to consider the keyhead cover too!

CMG Porsche, on the key for my last car, the red and black color on the key emblem got rubbed off, so I'm trying to prevent that from happening again. Maybe someone makes a tiny clear bra for the key emblem

The logo on the keyfob has cheap replacements - I did it when I did the keyfob swap

I’ve got the yellow key chain like above (obviously ) but the Pepita…. May need that for the second key. I remember growing up in Germany when the key pouches were common. They’re really for all your keys, not just the P-car one, but whatever works.

I don't let any other "lesser" keys touch my Porsche key. For whatever reason, when I bought my car used it had two keys, but unfortunately neither of them had crests (?)
A little disappointing, that.

But I don't mind high touch stuff in the car having a bit of patina, since it's my daily driver. As the leather ages gracefully, the interior door handle gets a tiny paint chip, etc, it just feels more like my car.

Cool pouches, tho!

I like OP's case. Houndstooth looks good on anything.
Would be nice f they made it in the Purple/blue Houndstooth like the Sport Seats in my 1802 911SC.

Wish there were an affordable way to put that houndstooth or that kind of interior into a regular Carrera. Kind of like the LCBs have that pull out section that can be swapped.

The white/black houndstooth will show wear after a while. Also tends to tear sometimes after time on bolster area.
The Purple/Blue keeps the color and doesn't show the wear/dirt much at all even after 40 years. It will separate/tear after time from the normal in and out of drivers seat especially on the upper bolster.

Actually they were Porsche factory pepita key chains and the instruction say they were hand assembled and any imperfections is what it is
I bought 2 and one crest is crooked I really love the look and since nothing is perfect it brightens up my all black leather interior
