Wheel is from suncoast, bag is from ebay.
Black Leather Wheel - NO MF - $895
https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU991G2487.html
I looked around for a long time, and found a lot of wheel with MF, but my car doesnt have MF and I didnt want to retrofit MF, so then you have to buy the blank parts and after you get a used wheel, plus the parts the total price was so close to a brand new wheel that doesnt need to be taken apart and had fresh leather, plus the new wheel got free shipping from SunCoast.
MF Delete Inserts - $40 each

Padel Delete Cover - $42

Looks fantastic across the board! Very well done, and congrats on the outcome after all the time, labor and frustration. I'm having serious wheel envy.

Hey,
Try Easy-Off, that is what worked best in the end, may be hard to keep the overspray off the rest of the door panels.
My center console is holding up great, everyone thinks its is real carbon too, haha! I am still very happy with the change.
If I did it again, I think I would do color match to the outside color instead, but still happy with it.

Thanks for the tip. Just tried the EZ Off on my ashtray lid. Took like 15 minutes to wipe off the coating. Didn’t even painted for the time being. Want to do the center console then will get everything painted.

Great job, Interested in seeing what other finishes might work, looks very intricate / curved too much so to cover in leather ? Not sure about Alcantara
The carbon finish looks amazing but my background in engineering stops me want CF unless its saving weight

I have a leather covered console, need to install it. Just bought a new shifter mechanism and cable ends to sort of make the work more worth it. Anyone have tips for sound deadening / reduction of rattles and buzzes? I only want to take this thing off once!

Regrding noise and rattles I often use sticky basked felt or actual felt and a little double sided tape, doesn't add very much weight and felt is a great damper

I just bought a roll of sticky sound dampening material, I think meant for like subwoofers and things. It seems like very dense foam; hoping this will absorb a lot of sound. Should I just apply it alllllll over on the inside of the console before installing? Or is that overkill? Looking at some of OPs pics that is a lot to apply.
