Hi, I’m in the Bay Area and in the market for a car like yours. I’m newish to the forum and haven’t checked if I can pm or not but let me know if you’re looking further into
this idea of parting with your car. Thank you

You cannot PM me since you are not a paying member (yet). You need to leave a way on here for me to contact you (email or pseudo email etc. so bots cannot pick up your email address) I am open to talking for sure.

Do what I did, just dilly dally until she agrees that the new car is special and you need to keep the old one as well.

The only palatable solution is to keep both.
I have an air cooled 911 along with my 997.2 C2S (both in white: Chiffon & Carrara). They both, somehow, make each other better.

Torch - Whatever you decide good luck with your decision! Very nice car and has been well taken care of.
For any current RL members or newbies interested in buying the car, for the past 15 years I have only purchased my 8-9 Porsche's from established RL members.
Buying from RL members is a great way to go and almost like a purchase insurance policy considering most of us perform due diligence when initially purchasing our P-cars and also take great care of our cars.
All the best!

Torch, I'm sure you are going to have no problem selling and, with the recent increase in prices, you should do very well. I too think yours would do extremely well on BAT, though I recognize that is more effort than placing in the Marketplace.
It seems like you are set on the move, so best of luck. Hopefully you will continue to haunt the 997 forum, as you've brought a lot of great/enjoyable posts during my year on here!

Update: Deposit accepted Saturday night. Educated buyer knew what he wanted and hustled to see and drive it.
