No tint. OEM. I think it is the ambient lighting that created that shadow, or camera exposure, or headlights being on inadvertently in the daytime.

I did purchase, but never installed, black vinyl headlight trim like the Sport Classic "sports".

Also light tint pieces for the tall lights.

Tinting headlights seems to be allowing form to the detriment of function.
It's why my suspension (PASM, not SPASM) is OEM and more functional on real world roads than a "slammed" one- especially if it results in no adaptive suspension whatsoever.

BTW, nothing wrong with the SPASM setup, but no way one can claim a performance advantage from it- though the stance looks cooler!

And there are two lengthy/contentious RL threads about a superior "bespoke" GTS suspension (vice Carrera S) and also the PASM being "keener" or "more compliant resulting in noticeably superior performance on less than smooth curved roads.

Other reviews back up the GTS over Carrera S handling advantage . Many.

I have my own opinion despite PET catalog data showing all but the anti roll bars being identical part numbers.

Still, a DSC box offers "wow" ride improvement for a fraction of most suspension hardware upgrades.

A very experienced journalist, who edited Excellence and now 0000, drove both versions back to back on the same (familiar to him) roads and was certain that PASM trumped SPASM.

YMMV, but I leave well enough alone and mod my GTS with improved performance in mind. Appreciate the compliments, but you'd really have to drive my car pre/post mods to appreciate them.

It's cool when a performance mod also looks cool- but most of mine are transparent unless driving it. Even the Sharky X-pipe adds 12 hp on a dyno posted on their website- and sheds weight from behind the engine. A good place to lighten on any 911.

Looks like the ducky is making a big comeback in popularity.
Based on the latest Panorama issue cover and a random selection of pics in the mag:

That must have been a fun and challenging career field!
The H-53's are older than the pilots.
You guys probably converted to Black Hawks or Dolphines by now.
I was in ARRS in 79-80 when Weather Reconnaissance was part of it.
Flew into the eyes of typhoons- bigger and more badass than east Pacific or Atlantic hurricanes.
54 WRS, Typhoon Chasers out of Guam.

This is inside Tyohoon Tip.
Lowest sea level pressure ever recorded on the face of the earth.
This was taken in 1980.

google it- still the record holder.

@Freakhead did you do the wheels yourself? What color? Think I’d like bronze on a black car. Like the duck too!

Mine was zero problem, only an assumed because the shop did not complain or charge extra labor to fit.

Have read about self-install issues with binding or uneven gaps. Not my experience.
