I had a 2000 911 Cabriolet that I enjoyed and sold a few years ago and then acquired a 2004 Cabriolet. Both of these cars I enjoyed and found quite gutless. I would have went to the turbo, but for the price increase I didn't see the benefits. I was going to a 996 or a 997 with a lot of LS power. I enjoy how small the cars are, and fun to throw around they are. I do not enjoy the way people treat you with them, especially with sales and service. In mid-May i was intent on getting a 997 Cabriolet either Turbo or non-Turbo. There were two that fit all my specs after a deal on a C8 Corvette blew up that were close to me. I went to look at the first one, but it had sold about thirty minutes prior. The second one was a Towbin motor cars in Las Vegas, I have never met such an arrogant set of jack asses as what was at this dealership. They wanted a credit profile etc before evening setting an appointment which was a week or two out. I was at the store to buy the car that day. I finally was pissed enough that I logged into my personal bank account at their door and showed them above seven figures that was in it that day! The GM then decided they could help me way too late!

So after all of this mess I had contacted Renegade Conversions which were nice and helpful on the phone, but had a long wait. I was still researching on the LS conversion kits. After seeing here that Chavis Performance was recommended to do a conversion as well. I decided to contact them to do some research and figure out which was better, all I was met with was attitude and my actual questions not being answered. These are the facebook correspondence with them.

This is where I come now to look, and didn't realize that for a private person to post a WTB thread with Rennlist you have to pay for a member ship. Well I am not doing that, I can understand that for vendors, but not for a private party how stupid! I am now just going to send my 996 to auction and NEVER consider another P-Car again. I have multiple Corvettes that smoke any 911 for performance. There is a reason that there is a lot more of them out there.

Later.

So, just because you didn’t like the guy’s response does not give you the right to go online and bash their work. You have zero experience with them other than a saturday text exchange. If you are willing to go online and make derogatory remarks with zero experience with them says a lot about your character. I would hate have you as client. You owe them an apology for posting that on FB or wherever you posted it.

The arrogance of claiming to have “7 digits” in your account. Nobody cares, and you can’t buy class.

Screw them if he can't send a phone number. I am not a rich person, I work hard for what I get, I was driving and wanted to talk to someone about this, not get the hey look it up! Voice to text doesn't work that well and unfortunately many times a phone conversation is easier than "research" on the internet, as we all know everything on the internet is true.

As this guy continues to go through life he's going to learn that these type of events and outcomes routinely reoccur. He's the common denominator in all of it.

He deserves the life he is creating for himself.

I’ve owned corvettes including a majorly modded C6. It was great car but I like my C2S better. The 911 feels like your wearing it.

I'd do business with Chavis now just because he had to put up with some dumb **** that professes to be "in his phone" for a few minutes.

So you have people who work for you? Would be curious to know what the turnover rate is.

What exactly were you hoping to accomplish here VRT? You come across as a whiney douchebag, so you do not have a good sense of self. If you were seeking some sort or validation, I'd say epic fail.

Just another malicious, pathetic millennial type mindset of you hurt my feelings so now I resort to harming your business on the internet. I could make a great living filing interference of business, libel lawsuits against little cyber attack douche bags that lack any people skills and knowledge of how the real world operates outside the internet, but try and use the internet to maliciously harm someone's livelihood.

This particular guy was dumb enough to post text messages that made him look like the jerk, not the guy whose business he is attacking. How dumb does one have to be to realize the text he posted made him out to be in wrong here. You gotta love it. Entertainment at its best.

Dude, you also gotta really love that he know wants to retaliate against the whole Porsche brand because he felt slighted in the above text messages by some poor guy that just works on them. I freaking love this. Only on the internet baby!

Lol, looking back the OP actually says he does not care if this poor company is good or not, he is going to bash/defame their conversions online.

I would actually represent Chavis PRO BONO just to get into the OPs 7 figures he allegedly has on deposit. Millennial types are probably dumb enough to not realize that one cannot bankrupt punitive damages so we could garnish his Micky D's paycheck for a long time.

In one breath, he is talking about his "seven figures" in the most annoying, entitled and d-baggy way...and in the next, "I'm not a rich person, I work hard for what I get..."? A bit incongruous to my way of thinking. My limited experience with this forum and Pcar folks in general is that they are the most accepting and supportive folks around when it comes to the marque. Hula said it right...leave Rennlist. The best thing that VRT could do for everyone here is to go back to his Corvettes. We will all happily wave goodbye.
