Default Quiz: What does 35 mph and 6th gear have in common?

2009 C2S 156K miles

What does 35 mph and 6th gear have in common? (referring to a manual transmission in the 997.2)

Peace

Default You got me

No idea.
By the way, not to hijack your thread but I’ve followed many of your posts. I bought a DSC partially because of your review. Wondering what suspension you are running now with the higher mileage. Have you changed struts yet? Are you at stock height w/stock springs? I’ve got H&R springs and am debating going back to stock to improve ride and less rubbing of the front end. DSC certainly helped with the ride but still pretty aggressive.

100% stock parts except to the DSC module. I did change all 4 shocks (not springs) out at 94K miles... rears were leaking and car was getting bouncy. Recently at about 155K miles, I changed the rear strut mounts, entire rear wheel carriers and bearings.

What is more interesting.... is why is 35mph and 6th gear so.... well so darn interesting?

Peace

In a 997.2, DFI motore, those 2 things have in common LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition) - wonderful for your engine.

Oh the jokes,
Oh the pokes.
C'mon and guess,
Or just confess.
As you sit and stew,
We know you don't have a clue.
Porsche engineers are right and true,
When you drive, the answer is right in front of you.

Or... something like that.

Peace

35 mph is the speed at which the upshift arrow comes on in 5th looking for the shift to 6th?
