Hi, I have a manual 2010 with a steering wheel that has a circular center and thicker grips at the 10 and 2 position. (sports wheel?)

I would like to change it out to an alcantara wheel, but one with less fat grips at that 10 and 2. Are there any OEM options for this? Would be great to reuse the existing airbag from the circular center.

I imagine that's one of those Dallas custom jobs. I hear from everyone his work is top of the line and there is core charge for the old wheel. I'm not certain but I think he's the one you want to talk to about a custom wheel.

If you're a paid member, put a WTT (Wanted to Trade) ad in the Marketplace. Probably quite a few folks would be willing to swap you their thinner Alcantara wheel for a leather, thickwr sport wheel. Alcantara on a wheel needs a lot more care than leather because of the dirt and oils on your hands matting down the knap of the material. Most also prefer the thicker wheels to the thinner ones.
