Default Swapping seats

I have done some searching and didnt find a solid answer. I am looking for some heated sport seats for my .1
a few questions I have....
-will heated sport seats from a .2 fit right into a .1?
-are all S seats heated?

as long as the controls on the side are the same between the two seats, it should work.

I don't know if all S seats are heated - but I had to do some very careful research to realize that I could go from my 14 way venitlated/heated seats to adaptive sport ones. I apparently could not do so easily to go from 14 way to manual sport seats - totaly different connectors

Get photos of your connectors on the bottom and the seats you have in question. If they match up, likely everything should work

I’ve often thought of this. My only lament is that my car doesn't have the Porsche crest in the headrests. Otherwise she’s perfect for me

All S seats are not heated. My 2005 S does not have the heated seat option and neither does my wife's. I bought heated sport seats and the HVAC panel from a heated seat car, but then discovered if the car doesn't have the option from the factory that the wiring from the HVAC to the seats isn't present so the adaptive sport seats were plug and play, but not the heat part. If your car already has the heated seats option, then buying heated seats will have them work.

Do you know if .2 seats will work in a .1?
My car has standard heated seats. Power recline, manual forward/back. If I find heated sport seats, but with power controls, do those controls still work?

Sorry, I don't know if you can cross over between generations. Some people have had some issues trying to do that I believe. Also, there's memory vs non-memory seats as well and I don't know if they cross over either. I've installed manual fore/aft sport seats into a different car and can make the power recline work with just 2 wires, but don't know if those same 2 terminals will power all the electrics.

There's a number of things you need to do.

1. Buy a set of heated seats and install them. (The power wiring is already in the harness to run them).
2. Buy and install the climate control panel to get the buttons.
3. Have someone with the Piwis? tell the computer that the car now has heated seats.
4. There are apparently a couple of wires that are not terminated and connected behind the climate control panel,.. and you need to get those pins and connect them and put them into the back of the connector?

I did steps 1-3,.. and bought the connector pins, but didn't notice any extra wires not terminated on the harness to the climate control module,.. and I never got further than that.

I tried to hook up the heated seats I bought for my car. Bought the nex panel with the switches and could never get the switches to illuminate even after enabling the option with coding and could not find the connector under the driver's seat - found it for the passenger seat.

Gave up.
