If you'r gonna buy new bolts anyway, buy titanium lug bolts. Best deal I found was from Worldwide Motor Sports. Pelican Parts has the same TI lugs, the price is similar.

I have a set of the ones "AS SEEN ON TV!".... they work but not all that well. They will, in essence, replace the stripped head, but have no magic in overcoming the resistant friction that caused the stripping in the first place. My luck has been 50/50 with them. The will work if you drill the head off thus reducing friction, and then use the tool on the remaining stud. Overall, I would definitely recommend a set of these for your tool bench, but not as a replacement for a good 'ole, whack-em-with-a-hammer impact screwdriver.

Ok. Update. I wasn't going to share this but since none of you know who I am...

The rear spacers finally arrived from ECS tuning. Re read the instructions on this post on how to use the impact driver correctly (thank you all) and the two screws came out in seconds. Put anti-seize on spacer. Put it in place. I used the longer stainless screws that came with the kit and put the first one in and thought to myself - this is how it should go...

Then I put the second screw on the screw driver and proceeded to put it in...the lug bolt hole above the where the screw goes and the screw dropped into the bottoms of the rotor

Thankfully it only took 10 minutes to get the caliper and rotor off, get the screw out, and readjust the parking break.

But damn, nothing is ever easy

I use an electric impact driver for these. Zero effort. Just don't put them in tight. One clunk of the driver to put in on low setting. No more. Acura cars all have these too.

when I rebuilt my calipers I stripped 2, and stopped till I got an impact screwdriver. So worth it.
