for those on eibach springs with aerokits.. how brutal is it driving around? My car is my daily but I love the aerokit look. do you find you are replacing the lip multiple times a year? does any damage ever reach the bumper itself? Speed bumps, driveways, etc?

I'm on H&R springs. I've had the car for 10.5 months. Scrapes in/out of my driveway and at the office most days. But I'm fairly used to it (my other car is on air, and I drive fairly low). I haven't had to replace it (yet), but at some point I will. I figure I'm not selling the car, and it is meant to be driven. No damage to the bumper.

If you need the lip looking pristine at all times, lowering your car is not the way to go.

damn. Guess I’ll have to reevaluate if I want to sell mine. That’s not near as strong of a result as I expected

62K is a good price...for the buyer.

I wish I had the production numbers for cars factory equipped with Aero (XAA). They are tough to find. I don't plan on selling anytime soon.

On H&Rs...with the 20" BBS wheels I barely scrape on anything, with the 19" Sport Wheels I scrape on quite a bit, but it never extends past the lip. The Ebay Lips are great at $134 shipped, its a wear item. I have not had to replace one yet. HERE

I was the other bidder on that auction. Auctions are tough to gauge the market. I would pay more for the car via private sale, but I stopped bidding because adding up all the extra fees (auction fees, transport fees, tax, reg, and title fees... you are looking at over 75 for that car. To me, it wasn't worth all the extra to keep bidding, but that is the price you pay if you purchase a car via auction.

I was about to bid but I didn’t want to get into a war with the dealer and to your point, all the fees would have pushed this way up.

speaking of XAA, yes it would be interesting to see % of cars by year that have that option, I've seen 2006 option numbers somewhere here on this forum and it noted that XAA was 7% of cars, has anyone seen numbers for other years? I guess they would be similar across years?

Still searching for a 997 S aero 6mt (preferably in guards red). Active and serious buyer! Send me a DM if you are interested in selling. Thanks!

If I wasn't a buyer at $75, I'm certainly not at $90 but I hear you

I would have loved the car too but the added fees and shipping really kill you.

Problem solved, 2008 C4 S, factory Aerokit front lip would not descend the driveway without significant scraping, so I had the driveway apron, sidewalk and section of asphalt lowered 4 inches. Now no problems.

Looks like they already have it posted up for 76K.

Also in the market for stock S/4S Aero, low miles, Manual, No Accidents. The white one on PCar was just what I was looking for but being in MA was not realistic.
