Default wheel spacer advice

Agonized for couple years whether to put spacers. ‘11 S with 19” sport design wheels. 7mm front, 15mm rear appears to be consensus on sizes. With basalt black and std rims should I use black or chrome bolts?
Are you glad did the spacers? Anyone did them, then removed? Searched forum and seems most are happy with them, just looking for comforting words lol, and bolt color advice.
thanks
Scott

I did 15mm front and rear with H&R springs. If I did it again I would probably do 7mm front and 10mm rear as I have grown to like a little bit of the Porsche ‘tuck’. 15/15 is right at the limit no rub territory with these springs.

I have different wheels (lobster forks before and GT3 wheels now) but for some reason, I always just go with silver bolts.
I also have agonized over the decision.
My car is silver. Both sets of wheels I have had are silver.
As for spacers, I had 15mm all around on my lobsters. On the GT3 wheels, I just did the OEM size 5mm spacers all around. With 235 tires in front and 305 tires in the rear, it looked good to me with no rubs ever.
Can you post a pic. of sport design wheels? ...like maybe post a pic. of your car, and then people with the same wheels can post pics too.

Beautiful 911.

One other thought - I would replace the orange front side marker lights. Conflicts with the red calipers and taillights - is a visual distraction. Clears would tie in better with your wheels.

You’re over-thinking it, It looks better, isn’t expensive and you can undo it easily if you don’t like it.
i did the same offsets you are considering and liked it. Got custom wheels with the same effective offset so now I don’t need the spacers, but would do it again.

I changed to the black bolts which Porsche puts on their cars now. I prefer them to the older silver bolts, as to me the silver ones stuck out and drew your attention to them, while the black ones fade out and make you pay more attention to the wheel design. Here they are on my lobsters.

World Motorsports Ti Lug bolts. Are stronger and lighter than steel, don't rust, paint doesn't chip off them, and they look awesome with every color and wheel style. I run them on all my cars.

Good catch lol. Realized after posting it was old pic. Clear side markers installed some time ago!

Agree with Petza914. I got some black Ti bolts at Acer Racing: Porsche Titanium Lug Bolts 6AL4V Aerospace Grade.

Seems like 7/10 is a choice with titanium bolts. Any recommendations on where to get spacers?
