Bumble bee is a Chevy. If you like the black and yellow look, perhaps a little more subtle look with the yellow calipers suggested previously, but that yellow stripe along the bottom and advertising that it’s a Porsche not really a good look IMO.

kinda unrelated but I did notice that people are painting PCCB black here and there. I told this to a friend and he said it was an option on his 992 build sheet.

subtle flex?
make my calipers look like base C2 calipers but they are PCCB??

My assumption is that he’s going for the same look as the 1974 limited edition 914 known as bumblebee.

Yes Dennis. I guess the younger guys were no aware. Also, if you are a PCA member this car was featured along with the creamsicle 914.
Would like to add some color.....

How about a darker orange. Or copper like color Flashy yet subdued compared to screaming yellow or hyper acid.

Since it's an open Cabriolet, how about just wearing a Bumble Bee suit while driving?

Yeah - all those options look damn awful.

Just because they did it 40+ years ago doesn't mean it will look good today.

There's "good" old, and "bad" old. I think the Bumblebee is bad old. Turn the page on it...
