Default 09 997.2 Steering wheel upgrade question

So I have a 2009 997.2 manual with the lovely triangle bag steering wheel. I want to convert it to the sport wheel that came on the 2010+ cars. Read a lot on this site about it and the knowledge here is second to none.

I know I can buy a new wheel for $1300+, but there are a lot of used PDK wheels out there for sale (namely due to so many cars with PDK's). I've searched the forum and didn't really find an answer. But can you convert a PDK wheel to a manual? If so, what all needs to be changed?

Any help would be fantastic.

Mike

Check with this guy: http://www.dallassteeringwheel.com/sw1.htm

I've bought two customized 997.2 wheels from him. He may have something like what you're looking for laying around for a lot less than $1,300.

since no one answered your question, yes, you should be able to fit a PDK wheel on a manual, you just take the paddles off of it.
