Default 3rd radiator airflow

On a regular 911, the side radiators have air passages for heat exchange and then channels it out through the wheel wells. The 3rd radiator on the GT3 also have an air vent on the top of the smiley face to dissipate heat. For our regular 911, if someone wants to install a 3rd radiator, where does the airflow go ? If there is no means of airflow for heat exchange, then even on highway speed I can't imagine how efficient the 3rd radiator can provide. My question is what is the point of adding a 3rd radiator if the backend is blocked with no air passage. Anybody that installed the 3rd center radiator care to give some comment on this ?

I understand that there are 4 square indents in the tray below, which you need to cut out to allow extraction of the air. There is a thread here somewhere with a photo if you want to look

There is a diverter that directs air down, and you cut 4 square holes in the bottom of the bumper

Yep, GT3 goes out the upper smile vent. Regular Carrera goes out the bottom.

Hmmm..so I have to tamper with the bumper cutting holes on it. Not an easy task because the bumper is quite thick and tough.

not really. the bumper cuts like butter with a dremel cutting wheel or with an angle grinder.

Its a 5 min job.

I used a little air saw after the bumper was reinstalled and it could not of been easier. Drilled corner holes and went between them.

With the aerokit front bumper on mine I did not need to cut any holes as there is a 1 inch(?) gap at the back of the bottom cover.
