Default PCM3 iPod/Aux Install

So I keep searching but cant find much to add an iphone compatibility to PCM3.

I dont want to use bluetooth to stream music so Dension Gateway would be the perfect choice but seems theres no options for cars with PCM3

Anything im missing?

(dont really fancy swapping out the PCM either as I like its OEM design)

Cheers

Try Navtool, they should make an OEM integration box for the PCM3. I almost went that route when installing front/rear cameras but decided to just go aftermarket with the MOST HUR kit.

Hi, thanks - but what are these things you mention? Can't find much on google other than https://navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT176/pcm3-bt-997.html ??

I have a questions, my 2009 has the Aux, USB Ipod outputs in the center console box but I cannot stream my phone to the PCM. Is there a fix to this?

I already have something similar to this device, I plug it into the USB port, then plug the 3.5 jack to my phone, paired the bluetooth connection to my phone but still no sound coming from the car speakers and nothing on the screen display. Any idea?

No idea what device you have now. But this one does not require plugging into the phone. The USB side plugs into the USB port and the 3.5 jack into the 3.5 port, both of which should be in your armrest console. Pair the device with your phone's BT, and VOILA!

Ok I actually plug the 3.5 jack into my phone instead of the car LOL. Will try this and see if it works. Thanks for your help bro.

Ha. Well, that could very well be the issue. Let us know if it works now

what you really want for bluetooth audio streaming is the OEM iPod cable and then the Bovee WMA1000 Tune2Air. This will allow you to stream bluetooth audio to your PCM, see track info on the PCM, and control tracks on your PCM. I just upgraded my 2009 to an aftermarket HU, shoot me a message if you want to buy my OEM cable and Bovee WMA 1000. Note that this will not add Bluetooth telephonic functions, just audio streaming.

No dice, did not work. I notice when I hit the "source" button on center console screen there is not Aux, USB or ipod options. All I see is AM, FM, DISC & SAT. Am I missing something?

I'm interested in this cable but only if it will work on my 2009. As mention before when I hit the "source" button on my PCM, it does not have any options for AUX or ipod. How can I get this to work if this does not show up on the screen?

To get Aux to show up on the list of source options, try this: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...l#post13990575

Here is an option to have an Apple lightning cable connection directly into the aux function of your PCM3 (you would likely have to disconnect universal audo interface aux port in your armrest): https://www.beckerautosound.com/porsche
